Gambhir, Nehra return home after Ayurvedic treatmentDelhi Daredevils skipper Gautam Gambhir and left arm fast bowler Ashish Nehra have come back to India after taking Ayurvedic treatment from Eliyantha White in Sri Lanka for recovering from the injuries sustained during the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL-3).

Gambhir and Nehra had came to Sri Lanka last week for recovering from injuries on the recommendation of their team-mate Tillekeratne Dilshan after they were threatened to miss the whole IPL-3 season due to injury.

The presidential secretariat said that White had treated both these players on the request of President Mahinda Rajapaksa. He added that Sachin Tendulkar had also undergone treatment of his injury under the guidance of White in the past.

The officials further said that Gambhir and Nehra have thanked president and White for their support to help them to recover from the injury.

Gambhir had received hamstring injury in the match against Mumbai Indians while Nehra had sustained rib injury during the training session before start of the IPL-3.
