The 'CoMix Wave Films' animated teen flick scored a sensational 10.9 million dollars in its Friday opening session from a wide release pattern of 66,000 screenings that attracted 2.77 million spectators, reports Variety.
'Your Name' aka 'Kimi No Wa' is also set to depose JK Rowling's 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' to a cooler 3.31 million dollars in the second place on 28,000 screenings. Its cumulative after eight days was 60.4 million dollars.
Washington D. C [Sept. 15] : SofiaVergara has topped Forbes magazine's annual list of best paid television actresses, earning a whopping 43 million dollars this year.
According to the magazine, this marks the Colombian actress' reign for the fifth
year in a row.

An Atlanta man has been charged with multiple felonies, including a gang activity for shooting at one of LIL WAYNE's tour buses following a gig in Georgia in April (15).
According to local media reports, 25-year-old Jimmy Carlton Winfrey, member of the Bloods gang has been accused of firing at the two-tour buses last month.
Winfrey fired from a moving vehicle on a metropolitan Atlanta highway, Interstate 285. About a dozen people were riding the buses after the rapper's performance at an Atlanta nightclub on April 26.
