Girls' jackets from Sport Obermeyer recalled due to entrapment hazard
A voluntary recall of Sport Obermeyer Ltd. girls' jackets was announced by the U. S. Consumer Product Safety Commission due to an entrapment hazard.
About 3,900 Posey, Lily, Rose and Daisy Girls' Ski Jackets with drawstrings at the waist were imported from Vietnam by Sport Obermeyer Ltd., of Aspen Colo., and sold at boutique and sports stores nationwide from July 2009 through February 2010 for between $90 and $140 each.
The commission has informed that the drawstring poses a hazard, potentially causing a child to become entrapped in the garment.
The jackets were sold in sizes 1 through 8. The names and style numbers are listed as Lilly #91549, Rose #91552, Daisy #91555, or Posey #91558 on the tag on the inside of the jacket.
Consumers were given the choices of either to remove the drawstring from the coats or return it to Sport Obermeyer for a full refund. (With Inputs from Agencies)
