Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Announces Increase in Its Net ProfitOn Tuesday, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd. has revealed unaudited consolidated results for the quarter ended June 30, 2011. Further, it stated a net profit of Rs. 2101.08mn ended June 30, 2011 as compared to Rs. 1705.41mn for the quarter ended June 30, 2009 whereas its total income has climbed to Rs. 8808.03mn from Rs. 6948.08mn for the quarter ended June 30, 2010.

Additionally, the group has notified a net profit of 724.65mn for the quarter ended June 30, 2011 as compared to 607.91mn for the quarter ended June 30, 2010 where the total income was observed to Rs. 3307.78mn from Rs. 2776.27mn for the quarter ended June 30, 2009.

Additionally, the state-run BHEL has reported a hike of 22%, for first quarter FY12 net profit. During the April-June quarter, company’s net profit increased to Rs. 815 crore against Rs. 667.7 crore.

In addition, its net sales were observed up 10% to Rs. 7,190 crore from Rs 6,479.7 crore year-on-year. According to a CNBC-TV 18 poll stated net sales of Rs. 7,954.36 crore and net profit of Rs 857.90 crore. The first quarter has witnessed a significant fluctuation in raw material prices with a hike of 16% to Rs. 4,581 crore whereas the employee costs were rolled down 3% to Rs. 1301 crore and reduction cost climbed swiftly by 35% to Rs. 171 crore
