The company didn't revealed the financial details of the acquisition, but if industry sources are to be believed Godrej Consumer has spent somewhere between Rs. 120 to 150 crore to acquire Tura international. The company has a footprint in 50 countries spread across Africa and Europe. It has a strong hold in the Nigerian soaps and skin care segment which can help Godrej to strengthen its position in the global market.
