Google Chrome Passes The Seven Day Test
When Google Chrome was initially released, many looked at it with suspicion as to will it be able to deliver what it claims to? But now it can be said that Google Chrome is good, as it passed the seven day test of the full time use, and in the process, beat Firefox, IE and Opera.
The users can’t but notice the enormous viewing widow, when they load the Google Chrome. Its features include the larger than usual viewing window, beautiful animations, browser bar that search, suggests, and shows history, and an attractive and highly functional start page. The locations are also displayed by the page searches that show the users search term in the scroll bar.
Chrome works really smoothly and Gmail and Google Reader function very efficiently. A difference is also made since each tab is loaded in its own process. Moreover, another page or Flash element in different tab doesn’t spoil everything, when the users are in the middle of something.
However, one negative point of Chrome is that it is not that compatible with hotmail, and if you use hot mail, then it can prove to be a showstopper. Still it cannot be considered to be a very serious issue and would be resolved by Google soon. Another issue with Chrome is that it too encounters the same problem as Firefox, that is flashing of videos sometimes stop after two seconds.
Another thing which Google should include in Chrome, is the Milk Todo list. The users as of now, lose a lot of functionality due to the absence of these features.
However, after this seven day test, it can be said that overall, Chrome is quite a useful browser.
