Google tablet takes head-on iPad
It is believed that Google is posing for its latest venture a tablet device, reports strong rumors from Verizon.
This is in sync with the recent reports that were being publicly discussed for a new Chrome powered tablet back in February, so this revelation hardly comes as a surprise. But the confirmation that Verizon has given to The Wall Street Journal highlights a rise in competition between Google and Apple.
The original statement form Horse's mouth Verizon's Chief Executive, Lowell McAdam, to WSJ stated: "We're working on tablets together, for example. We're looking at all the things Google has in its archives that we could put on a tablet to make it a great experience."
He further refused to divulge any kind of details for the same, but February public addressing hinted that this Chrome based tablet device would support multi-tasking, which its rival iPad doesn't.
