Google Voice rolls out

Google Voice rolls out Google has pronounced its Google Voice service for all U. S. citizens that does not require an invitation.

Through the company's blog post, Google's Voice product manager Craig Alker stated: "We're proud of the progress we've made with Google Voice over the last few years, and we're still just scratching the surface of what's possible when you combine your regular phone service with the latest web technology."

This service basically gives you a single phone number that can be used to reach you if you have multiple numbers at the same time it offers its own voicemail message transcription service. Since its inception, Google Voice has managed to garner a decent userbase of about 1 million users. It is further estimated that this service shall lend a hand in attracting more members than estimated and if things fall in right place, Google might come out as the supremo.
