The Telugu audiences know well that creative director Vamsi had a non-detachable attachment with Godavari. He had a special taste in moulding the beauty of Godavari on the celluloid. Now, he is bringing out a different love story and this time, he included his favourite river's name in the title called `Gopi. Gopika. Godavari'. This means, River Godavari is getting a dais for the love of hero Gopi and heroine Gopika.

The film is being produced by Valluripalli Ramesh on the banner of Maharshi Cinema banner. Presently the film is busy in post-production works. The film has Venu Thottempudi as hero and Kamalini Mukherjee as heroine. Vamsi also had a special attachment with music director Chakri and there are several musical hits in their combination including `Avunu, Valliddaru Ishtapaddaru'. He scored excellent tunes for this movie too.

Another speciality is that Vamsi himself lent his voice for two of the songs in the movie. The producer is making efforts to launch the audio on the banks of River Godavari on May 8. -Sampurn Media
