Kolkata-based Graphite India Limited has reported that company’s board of directors has approved expansion of Graphite Electrode manufacturing plant at the Durgapur Plant in West Bengal by 10500 MT at an estimated cost of Rs 187 crore.

Graphite India Limited engages in the production of graphite electrodes, and other graphite products primarily in India. It also engages in manufacturing of impervious graphite equipment and glass reinforced pipes.

The shares of the company slipped Rs 1.60, or 2.60%, to settle at Rs 60. The total volume of shares traded was 202,859 at the NSE. (Monday)
