Washington, March 2 - Helen Mirren has revealed that she will be rooting for ' 12 Years a Slave' at the Oscars.

The veteran actress said at a Pre-Oscars party in LA that she really wants the Steve McQueen - helmed slave drama to be recognized among all the great movies, People Magazine reported.

The Academy Award winner continued saying that there is very tough competition, especially with the male actors, because all the performances were spectacular.

The 'Queen' star added that when she was asked to vote, it was so hard for her to choose one and not the other as they are all incredible. (ANI)
