From the archeological studies in Britain the clues of the Neanderthals have been founded out. Two pieces of flint, which is a hard kind of stone has been discovered. It is a form of silica more opaque than chalcedony and it has been found out by the workers when the highway work was going on. The archeologists have said that it as the clear evidence of Neanderthal's existence Britain.

A professor from Southampton University, Dr. Francis Wenban Smith has informed that it is the evidence which is pushing the mankind back to many years and indicates the presence of Neanderthals in Britain as well. Near about 40,000 years they might be exist there.

But most of the researchers believe that as the time progresses with the making of the flint tools in Britain, they were depopulated and it was totally uninhabited by the humans.

However, there has been now evidence whether there were any human exist in between 200,000 and 65,000 years. It has been puzzling the researchers yet. But due to the fluctuation of sea levels during this period of 200,000 and 65,000 years, there may be a change in the life cycle.
