Honda tries to make a comebackAfter filing falling numbers in the past couple of months, Honda SIEL is trying to make a comeback in the Indian market.

The company has recently re-launched its Civic model in the Indian market at Rs 12.20-13.81 lakhs. According to the statement issued by the company, the new Civic will have enhanced features, namely steering mounted cruise control system, back up sensors and will sport a 1.8 litre i-VTEC engine.

The company also mentioned the fact that the recently launched product will be available in three different variants in the Indian market. HSCI Director (Marketing) Tatsuya Natsume said that Civic has been accepted very well by the Indian consumer and the recently launched product will only add to its desirability factor in the Indian market.

Apart from adding features that will enhance the driving pleasure of the user, the company has also put emphasis on adding more security to its product as the recently launched product will have features like the anti-lock braking system, dual airbags and pretensioner seat belts. However, the new variant will cost the user Rs. 13,000 more than what he was paying for the earlier variant.
