HP launches Mini210 notebooks

HP launches Mini210 notebooksHewlett-Packard India has launched its new HP Mini210 notebooks, a move that will expand the mini notebook portfolio of the company in the country.

Mini210 notebooks along with earlier models Mini 110 and HP Mini come with components which are more environmentally friendly and thus foot print of the notebooks on the environment is smaller.

The notebook has dimensions of 10.55 in length x 6.9 in width x 0.9-1.11 in height and weighs just 2.69 lbs. Its HD LED HP Bright View Infinity Widescreen Display measures 10.1 inch. It has Chicklet keyboard and also a Chicklet Touchpad.

The notebook runs with Intel Atom N450 Processor and has Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3150. In storage capacity, it has 1GB RAM 160GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive and the company also offers options of 160GB storage with 7200RPM and 250GB storage with 7200RPM with additional cost.

The operating system, windows XP Home with Service Pack 3 is offered with the notebook and its prices is included in the overall price of the device. Users have the option to purchase Windows 7 for Rs. 1400 approximately.

HP has included 3 Cell Lithium Ion Battery in the package and also offers the option for 6 Cell Lithium Ion Battery which runs for about 9.5 hours.

For better connectivity solutions, the notebook has Wireless-G Card, Bluetooth and Integrated Ethernet LAN. It offers various other features including with Digital Media Reader, Built-in Stereo speakers and ports include 3 USB Ports, RJ-45 and VGA port. Norton Internet Security 60-day subscription is also offered in the package.

HP Mini210 is available in Black Crystal, Silver Crystal, Pacific Blue or Sonoma Red HP Imprints and comes with a price tag of Rs. 16,000 upwards in the country. The company offers 1-year limited hardware warranty on the product.
