HTC launches its Windows phone, HD2 in India
HTC has introduced its new Windows phone, HD2 with the ‘HTC Sense’ feature in India. The new HD2 has got an ultra thin shape and comes with a high-resolution 4.3-inch ‘capacitive touch’ display that displays sharper, brighter and clearer images.
The HD2’s ‘capacitive touch’ display technique enables the users to view, zoom and resize websites, Microsoft Office files, PDF documents and images simply, without clicking too many keys. The new mobile’s high processing speed is ensured by the Qualcomm’s new 1 Ghz Snapdragon mobile processor.
With launch of the HTC HD2 phone, Tata DOCOMO has announced an exclusive offer, under which the Tata’s subscribers will be able to browse the Internet and download 500MB of data per month free for about six months.
The Chief Marketing Officer of TATA DOCOMO, Mr. Gurinder Singh Sandhu has informed that Tata DOCOMO has recently launched its GSM services over the 15 circles in the five months and has got an enthusiastic response.
He further said that living up to the promise that the company has made earlier with the customers, Tata has launched HTC HD2 phones for the customers.
Mr. Sandhu added that the new HTC HD2 will be premiered at Tata DOCOMO stores in a view to provide the customers first hand experience of the world’s biggest touch screen mobile.
Adding to the features, HD2 incorporates Microsoft’s new ‘My Phone’ service that offers automatic backup and synching of contacts, photos, music, and text messages to the web for free.
The HTC has priced the HD2 at Rs 39,990 in the Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, and in the rest parts of the country, it will be made available at a price of Rs 36,900.
