Taiwanese corp. HTC has featured its new model- Legend. The smartphone capable of hosting amazing pictures and comprehensive apps has been priced at Rs 25,990.

As the trade pundits state the much anticipated model, HTC Legend comes with Android Eclair 2.1 mobile operating system has successfully kept the standards of its predecessor HTC Hero.

Legend features itself in unibody aluminum case at the same time has HTC Sense user interface layered over the Android 2.1 Eclair update. With a 3.2 inch screen with AMOLED display supporting 320x480 pixel resolution has all the latest features.

Some of the listed features of the phone are 600MHz Qualcomm MSM 7227 processor, 384MB RAM and 512MB ROM, 5 mega pixel camera (2592x1944) with LED Flash, accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor and digital compass. Legend is ready for 3G networks with HSDPA 900/1200 and supports quad-band GSM 850/900/1800/1900 networks.

Priced against the likes of Blackberry, Nokia etc it is believed to pose a heavy competition. And until the Nexus One is launched in India it will hold its number one position for being the best smartphone in the Android market.
