An aim to capitalize the Indian market in full, HTC- the Taiwan based Telecom manufacturer is planning to release its smart phone for the masses or the HTC Smart.

HTC Smart was initially called as the TouchB and currently it seeks to enter the Indian Market with an affordable price range of Rs. 10,000. With all the basic features such as 2.8 inch QVGA touchscreen display, GSM and HSDPA connectivity, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, 3.5mm headset jack, 3MP camera with flash, 300 MHz processor, 256 MB ROM and 256MB RAM, MicroSD card support, it aims to rule out Samsung Corby or LG Cookie or be it any entry level phone of Nokia such as 5233.

With the company aiming for the masses, this Smart phone shall definitely rule the Indian markets, according to the critics.

It is also believed that it has two very discouraging features are - lack of Wi-Fi and GPS. According to the trade analysts, this is something which differentiates HTC Smart from the regular smartphones.
