Intel may supposedly launch the versions for its HP envy enabling them with the Core i5 and Core i3 ULV CPUs.
It is believed that Hewlett-Packard reports reveal that the three new standard-voltage Core 2010 chips in the service manuals for the Envy models i. e., the HP Envy 17 and Envy 15 gaming laptops have been shot and they are believed to sport the i5 processor.
They will be featuring the top notch i7-840QM which is currently being considered as Intel's new top-of-the-line quad-core CPU that comes with a 1.86GHz clock that turbo up to 3.20GHz (or 3.20MHz, if you believe the above screencap) and 8MB of L3 cache.
The i7-740QM is considered a stepped down version with 1.73GHz / 2.93 GHz clocks and a 6MB L3 cache; and the i5-450M appears sparingly different from the existing i5-520M with 2.4GHz / 2.93 GHz clocks and 3MB of L3 as it aids in smoother performance.
This although in tenterhooks but if stated to be true will justify HP with its truest sense - Envy.
