Ibuprofen nullifies Parkinson’s disease

ParkinsonThe latest finding according to a US research has hinted that people who take ibuprofen on customary basis may lessen their risk of developing Parkinson's disease.

The research entailed 136,474 people who did not suffer of Parkinson's disease at the start of the study. They were inquired about their use of non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), including aspirin, ibuprofen and acetaminophen. After a span of six years it was seen that 293 participants had developed Parkinson's disease.

Surprisingly, the study discovered that those who took ibuprofen on regularly were 40 per cent less prone to stem the disease than people who didn't take the drug, while, those consuming a higher dose had even lesser chances of acquiring the disease.

Reasons derived out have concluded the cause of Parkinson's to be brain inflammation and ibuprofen helps in countering the same. It is yet to be determined the idealness of the situation as it still is on is testing phase.
