In order to give stiff competition to the much publicized Apple iPhone in India, the Aditya Birla owned Idea Cellular has decided to launch Nokia ‘N96’ for its subscribers.

Nokia N96 features a 5MP auto focus camera, additional VGA camera on its face for making video calls, expandable 16GB of internal memory, GPS, Wi-Fi and much more.

According to the company officials, the above mentioned features are missing in the Apple’s iPhone. The cellular company will provide this amazing phone to its subscribers by the coming month.

On the other hand, experts believe that the sale of Apple iPhone is not picking up in India because of its high price. Airtel has introduced the iPhone at Rs 31,000 for the 8 GB version and Rs 36,000 for the 16 GB version.

However, the other major telecom company Vodafone has decided to slash the prices of iPhone by Rs 1,500 in order to lure the customers.

Experts believe that both Airtel and Vodafone are hardly able to sell more than 1500 phones in the first week of its release in India.
