After the software developers at Microsoft have put in many hours of hard work in developing the latest version of the Internet Explorer 9, the company has recently said that it is now available for download to the Indian consumers as well.

Hemant Sachdev, Managing Director - Consumer & Online, Microsoft India said that the consumers today use the web as a source of entertainment as well as for education, information and communication.

Moreover, the MD also said that the recent variant of the explorer is made keeping all the needs of the consumers in mind and it is site centric rather than browser centric. Some features of the latest version of the explorer give independence to the user to pin your favorite websites to the Windows taskbar for shortcut access and it also notifies when the browser is getting slow.

The company has also made sure that this version of the explorer enhances the user experience with the popular social networking portals.

While it is still to be seen that how will the Indian consumer accept the version but it is expected that it will gain a decent mind-share of the TG.
