Improvement In Bal Thackeray’s Health Condition

Bal ThackreyHealth of Shiv Sena chief Balasaheb Thackeray, who was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of Mumbai’s Lilavati, is getting better.

After meeting Thackeray at the Lilavati hospital, senior party leader Manohar Joshi stated, “Balasaheb’s health is improving. He was hospitalised for cough problem last night and is in the ICU.”

According to the sources, the 83-year-old Thackeray was hospitalized due to breathing problem Hospital late Thursday evening.

The doctors would shortly decide about bringing Thackeray out of ICU.

But, Balasaheb is not going to be discharged today, Mr. Joshi said.

The Foundation Day function of Shiv Sena, which finishes 43 years on Friday, has been canceled due to the health problem of Mr. Thackeray, he said.

For the last few years, the ailing Sena chief has been a regular visitor at the hospital due to age-related troubles.

That’s why Thackeray has handed over everyday party’s functioning to his son Uddhav.

Senior Sena leaders Diwakar Raote, Anantrao Adsul, Subhash Desai and daughter-in-law Smita Thackeray visited him in the morning.
