Microsoft Corporation sees India as the global hub for cloud computing. Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer has informed that India can lead the way of cloud computing in coming years. He has said that the country is having huge potential in IT and ITES services.

Cloud computing is a concept of renting computing power. It has become the latest sensation in the technology world.

As per Ballmer, there will be huge hike in cloud computing services in this country and after few years companies from all across the globe will depend on India to support their transition to cloud computing. Mr. Ballmer is now in India in his visit to the division at New Delhi.

Microsoft believes that India will move directly to the cloud computing. It can provide 3 lakh jobs in coming five years. The total business form this service is expected to go up to $70 billion.

Ballmer has also said that there is high scope in areas like this and jobs will be generated in fields like cloud consulting, enabling software service, integrating offerings etc.
