The seeding list of the Davis Cup World Group has been announced on Monday and Indian team is positioned among eight unseeded teams in the ITF Davis Cup Nations Ranking. Belgium, Chile, Ecuador, France, India, Serbia, Sweden, Switzerland are the eight unseeded teams.  

India had ousted South Africa 4-1 in the Davis Cup tie to advance in to the World Group after a long period of 11 years.

Spain has been top seeded while Czech Republic has been seeded second in the tournament. Spain had defeated Czech Republic in the final of the World Group playoff.

The draw for 2010 World Group will be revealed on Wednesday in Geneva, Switzerland. As per the regulations of Davis Cup, the top two ranked teams will be placed in different groups.

The eight seeded teams include Spain (1), Czech Republic (2), US (3), Russia (4), Argentina (5), Croatia (6), Israel (7) and Germany (8).
