Intel to showcase working system with Sandy Bridge E at LITS
Chip maker, Intel is planning to showcase a fully working system powered by Sandy Bridge E platform at the inaugural London International Technology Show 2011.
The computer parts will be placed in the Armari XCP, which is a casing containing non-conductive liquid offering better cooling. The Sandy Bridge E, which the company described as its "next generation enthusiast-focused platform", is expected to be extremely overclockable.
The new Sandy Bridge E will also come with official "performance overclocking" support through Intel X79 Express chipset. The company will offer three Sandy Bridge E CPUs in the market.
The first will have four cores and be clocked at 3.6GHz, the other two will have six cores and run at 3.2GHz and 3.3GHz.
