iTunes Music Store might be under a hacking attackSeveral reports have indicated that Apple’s iTunes Music Store is being attacked by hackers, who have succeeded in breaching security systems put in palace by the company.

Betanews had reported the issue last year, but the number of users has increased significantly since last May. Apparently, some of the users saw their credit card details being removed from the site, indicating that Apple is aware of the problem.

Apple has not made comments on the matter leaving users only to believe in speculation and reports. Betanews has identified victims in five different countries indicating that the problem is not limited to the US.

Readers have been complaining about the issue from different games meaning the issue is not only affecting Sega's Kingdom Conquest but others as well. Betanews noted that every game targeted is a free download, and the fraudulent charges are all due to in-app purchases. Thus it believes that the hack is as a result of a venerability in-app purchases.
