Digital photography and printing firm Kodak India has launched a pocket video camera at a price of Rs 7,999.

In a statement, Kodak India vice president (sales and channel management and SPG head digital camera and device and film capture) Saraswatula Srinivasu said, ''Kodak PlaySport is specifically designed for consumers with active lifestyles, allowing them to capture full 1080p HD video- even underwater simply with the touch of a button.''

Mr. Srinivasu said that the camera that was launched yesterday at Photo Today 2010 exhibition, is waterproof up to 10 feet and includes features like electronic image stabilisation with capacity to capture five megapixel still pictures.

Mr. Srinivasu stated that the memory of the camera is expandable up to 32GB, which can record up to 10 hours of video.

The camera also comes with an integral software, which lets users to edit and share videos via sites like YouTube, Twitter and Facebook.

In the meantime, the company also launched the latest version of its 'Digi Album Pro' software at the exhibition.

The largest selling album designing software in India, Album Pro comes with preloaded and ready to use design templates for all occasions like weddings, birthdays, holidays and kids' parties. (With Inputs from Agencies)
