Since  late November car accident, Tiger Woods to make first public appearance on FridaySince a car accident unleashed a series of revelations about infidelity and halted his illustrious golfing career, Tiger Woods, on Friday, will make his first public statement.

According to a statement released on Woods' website on Wednesday," Tiger plans to discuss his past and his future, and he plans to apologize for his behavior."

No questions will be accepted from the media when, Woods will speak at 11 a.m. (1600 GMT) at the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

Since he crashed his car into a tree outside his house in the middle of the night in late November, Woods has not played golf and not appeared in public.

The circumstances of the crash unleashed a series of rumors about Woods' marriage and affairs. The star golfer in a written statement has since admitted to "infidelity" and postponed his golfing career "indefinitely," saying he was working to repair his marriage.

The statement further said," While Tiger feels that what happened is fundamentally a matter between him and his wife, he also recognizes that he has hurt and let down a lot of other people who were close to him." (With Input from Agencies)
