Lauren Bacall lands honorary Oscar

New York, November 16 : Hollywood legend Lauren Bacall has been presented with an honorary Oscar.
The 85-year-old actress, who was married to showbiz heartthrob Humphrey Bogart until his death from cancer in 1957, collected the accolade at Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences''
2009 Governors Awards.
"I can''t believe it - a man at last," the New York Daily News quoted Bacall as saying.
"The thought that when I get home I''m going to have a two-legged man in my room is so exciting," she added.
The trophy eluded the star during her career spanning more than 30 films, including "The Mirror Has Two Faces," that earned her an Academy Award nomination.
But the Oscar went to Juliette Binoche for "The English Patient." (ANI)
