Leakage Of New Safari For iPhone
Recently, the pictures of new MobileSafari for the iPhone OS 2.2 leaked creating a buzz in the mobile industry. The pictures somewhat revealed there have been changes brought by Apple, like removing the magnifying glass and refresh buttons from the top.
Furthermore, now the URL bar and search fields are side-by-side. This style is quite familiar with e desktop version of Safari. To add more, the URL bar even has a refresh shortcut. This leak was due to the sources of iPhone Atlas, who broke an NDA to get the screens live, which actually seem to be bad for them since this can lead to no further access on the previews of iPhone software for them.
As of now, the users are really excited and why shouldn’t they be, since the iPhone OS 2.2 will have some really constructive changes and new additions.
However, there has no sight of demonstrated betas or developer versions of the software. Some questions which are on the users mind are related to enhancement of security over the phone, better speed, better text-messaging experiences.
It is hoped that the upcoming MobileSafari will have better JavaScript handling, better and attractive Web technologies such as Adobe’s Flash and Air. If Apple fails to include all these features in their latest upcoming, iPhone, then it is quite possible that the users might lose interest.
