Liam Gallagher refutes movie career plans

Liam Gallagher refutes movie career plansWashington, June 26 : Oasis star Liam Gallagher has refuted claims that he is swapping music for movies after reportedly landing a film role in a big venture.

It was believed that the singer had signed up to star in the big screen version of Kevin Sampson''s novel Powder, based on a rock band''s struggle with sex and drugs following their rise to fame.

The reports emerged after dance music veteran Guru Josh, who has signed on to the project, took to the Internet to boast about starring with Gallagher in the film.

However, the rockstar's spokesman insisted that the stories were "simply not true", adding: "Liam has no plans to be involved on any level with the project."

Gallagher had also dismissed rumors of the band separating earlier this year. (ANI)
