L&T bags two orders worth Rs 1,195 crore from ONGC
Major engineering company - Larsen and Toubro made a statement on Monday saying it has got two orders worth the value of a whooping Rs. 1,195 crore from the State-run Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (or ONGC) for works associated with construction.
The company Larsen and Toubro has made plans to establish one more extra processing unit at the gas processing complexes owned by the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation at the sites of Hazira and Uran, as expressly stated by Larsen & Toubro (L&T) in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (or BSE).
The scope and range of the work of the company includes project management and construction, besides works related to engineering. The filing gave additional information that the company's work also involves handing over the newly set up processing units to the owner.
The construction giant, worth 9.8-billion US Dollars has already got to itself established onshore gas processing complexes for the Reliance Industries at Kakinada and the Cairn Energy at Barmer.
The company has its shares trading at Rs. 1,870 on the BSE, which is 0.05 per cent higher than its previous close.
