Sydney  - A 20-year-old Malaysian faced a Melbourne court Friday charged with attempting to smuggle heroin into Australia in her bra.

The woman was frisked when she arrived on a flight from Bangkok on Thursday. Customs officers found a package containing 400 grams of heroin in her bra.

The offence carries a maximum penalty of 25 years in jail. (dpa)
