‘Malfunction’ guiding the flames at Ruby Mills  On Thursday morning, a blaze busted out on the grounds of Ruby Mills on G K Sawant Marg, close to Plaza Cinema in Dadar. Approximately 40 workforces were there in the mill at the moment of the blaze; however no fatalities were accounted, as per the fire representatives.  

Chief Fire Officer Uday Tatkare expressed that the event happened when one out of the three cloths- dealing out units on the ground floor discard of the mill break down around 7:30 am.

Tatkare added that the fire broke out when workers were arranging to establish the machines. It consequently extended as boilers and oil pipelines with a slight split were in the locality. Though, all the staff in attendance in the mill hurried out and no one was injured.

The shed is smeared athwart 3,200 sq ft of area. The inferno was of Mark II, which is deemed to be somber in description, the officials expressed. Approximately four jumbo tankers, eight fire engines, and three water tankers were hurried to the location.

The fire brigade representative has ruled out any shady play in the event as of now. Employees and workers were there at the moment of fire and they might notice the technical grounds following the cause of the fire.
