One of the bestsellers in the history of Electronic Arts history has been Medal of Honour, this too gets uplift and the new format will be out on October 12, 2010. For European region, that would be October 15.

The Medal of Honour which is basically a military shooter series gets a makeover facing the heat of competition from others such as Modern Warfare series and Crysis series.

In addition to the release date the company has also released a new trailer, titled "Leave a Message," which can be viewed on the official site. In the trailer a U. S. Army Ranger platoon plunges into combat while one of its members dials his family back home.

Greg Goodrich, Executive Producer of Medal of honour, said that this version of Medal of Honor is an authentic look into today's war. It resembles a close inspiration to the actual events.

The gameplay places the player in the footsteps of a soldier who has to rise from the infantry ground pounder to the Tier 1 Operator. Signing off the first Medal of Honor it brings the franchise forward to modern-day Afghanistan, where one gets to play as a Tier 1 Operator.

This game aims to bring back the same hype which was seen in after the launch of Medal Of Honor 1.
