Microsoft down on two vulnerabilities
In an official statement made by Microsoft it is bound to release a security bulletin that will cater to address two vulnerabilities. These flaws address to the issues pertaining to the Windows operating system and Office suite that gives an access to the hackers to take control of computer system.
The post that appeared on the Microsoft Security Response Center (MSRC) states that the upcoming bulletin will be made available with a patch that takes care of the security vulnerabilities in Windows 2000, XP, Vista, Windows 7, Server 2003 and 2008, Office XP, Office 2003 and 2007, including the Visual Basic for Applications and Visual Basic for Applications software development kit, that constitute the suite.
The post further highlighted that it will take care of the major security error in Microsoft SharePoint Services 3.0, a flaw responsible of exposing the data.
Group Manager Jerry Bryant of Response Communications at Microsoft stressed that it is better that consumer's upgrade to a newer OS or download the latest Service Pack. Meanwhile, he suggested the users to review the advisory and apply the same.
