Maruti Suzuki is all set to cross the magic number of a seven figure in production and sales in the year 2009-10. The company has been in service of the Indian consumers for more than 26 years. Starting from the Maruti-800 to the all new Swift Desire, Maruti has been bang on target in consumer demand and satisfaction.

Now this prime mover of Indian car market is going to touch a new landmark i. e. 10 lakh output and sale in a single financial year. Surely it will be a new record that other car companies in India will love to chase.

Maruti Chairman RC Bhargava has informed that the company's production has touched 9.31 lakh units in the April 09-February 10 period.

But the sales were around a figure of 9.23 lakh units. But in the current year, it is quite confident to cross the million-mark comprehensively, in terms of output as well as sales.

Bhargava has also informed that Suzuki chief, Osamu Suzuki has expressed his contentment on such a huge achievement to come in the company's way. Mr. Suzuki will also take part in a special ceremony on 23rd of this month.
