Washington, July 25 : Celebrities paid tribute to the late King of Pop Michael Jackson for his humanitarian efforts at Save the World Awards in Austria.

The ceremony marked individuals and organisations that have played significant role in making planet more sustainable for future generations.

The event was named after the pop legend's song `Heal The World.'

The icon's brother Jermaine Jackson collected a posthumous prize for him.

Jackson was remembered for his "many social and humanitarian engagements, but also... his incredible musical legacy," Contactmusic reports.

Jermaine sang the song `Smile' in the event like he did at Jackson's memorial service in Los Angeles.

Actress Andie MacDowell hosted the event. (ANI)
