Los Angeles  - Morgan Freeman is to play a disgruntled, elderly playboy in a new movie that could see him resurrect his starring partnership with Jack Nicholson from 2007's The Bucket List.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the movie has been circulating with the name Dirty Old Men but could get another name before it goes into production at Warner Bros.

The film will star Freeman as an ageing player who finally finds true love, only for his best friend and wingman of 40 years to do everything in his power to break up the relationship. (dpa)
