Motorola launches latest milestone with Android 2.0 Operating System

motorolaMotorola will launch Google based Android 2.0 OS on March 22, 2010 in India.

Motorola has already updated Android version 2.1 in US market and will continue with this version in US, . however iIt is a good news for Indian market that Motorola is all set to go with Android 2.0 version. It is predicted that Indian customers have to use their mobile services without free Google navigation and other free services.

Motorola milestone-Android 2.0 version has some dynamic characteristics like it has 3.7 inch touch screen display, a slide out QWERTY keypad which is the thinnest(13.7mm) in the market, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 and 5 MP auto focus camera with LED flash and 4x digital zoom with night shot and image stabilization.

Along with these features, it has some more exclusive attributes; it has an accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, video recorder with HTML browser and 3G GPRS with turn-by-turn navigation and voice activated hunter.

Motorola proves to be the first company to bring Android OS version in to Indian market. Company will be introducing its first Smartphone in India with the intension to capture market left for android versions to explore.

Company has not announced the price for this milestone, but it is predicted that it will be around Rs. 34,000.
