Tehran - Defeated Iranian presidential candidate Mir-Hossein Moussavi said via his website late Thursday that four of 70 academics allegedly arrested after meeting with him had still not been released.

One of those four included the chief of Moussavis election headquarters, Ghorban Behzadiannejad, the website said. 66 had been freed, it said.

The state-run Farsi news agency earlier denied any of the 70 Islamic scholars had been arrested.(dpa)
