It has been reported that on Saturday evening, Music Director Maniratnam’s latest project ‘Raavan’, with actors Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was launched.

It is said that a scintillating ceremony was planned at Yash Raj Studio, for the launch of the music album of Raavan.

It has been reported that Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was the host of the show.

Actor Abhishek Bachchan, who is playing the role of Raavan in the movie, gripped the viewers with his exhilarating performance on a song of the movie.
Oscar winner Music Director, A.R. Rehman has given the score music of the movie, while Gulzar has given the lyrics.

At Raavan music launch, Maniratnam, Rehman, Abhishek Bachchan, Gulzar and other crewmembers were present.

It has been said that singers, Sukhwinder, Ila Arun, Sapna Awasthi, Kunal Ganjawala, Asha Bhonsle, Chitra Sivaraman, Rekha Bhardwaj, Javed Ali have sung for the movie, Raavan.

Raavan is expected to release on June 18, 2010.
