Myanmar airplane crash lands in Sittway, one injured Yangon - A Myanmar Airways plane crash landed Saturday in Sittway, a port town in the Rakhine State, injuring at least one person, state media reported.

The Myanmar Airways XY-ADW flight departed Yangon at 7 am and crash-landed in Sittway, at about 8:20 am Saturday, the state-run Myanmar TV eneving news reported.

One co-pilot was injured, it said.

The flight was carrying six crew and 62 passengers to Sittway, about 320 kilometres north-west of Yangon. (dpa)
