Fly mobile introduces a new music oriented handset Fly Harmony, Codenamed DS102 as a new entry in music oriented handsets.
The handset comes with a 3.7 cm CSTN display screen with a resolution of 128 X128 pixels. The handset supports 65K colors and is equipped with dual SIM.
Talking regarding its appearance, it is a phone with no camera and measures 106.9 X 46 X14.8 mm and its weight is 58.5 g with battery. The handset makers targeted teenagers who look around for cheap phones. The handset is not polished with extra characteristics.
Indian users have been kept in mind by the Fly mobile company which is UK based Meridian Group. In India generally people love to compare their handsets features with other mobile handset just to flaunt like what can be the highest pitch of sound while listening a song etc, said by Mr. Prem Kumar, Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Kumar also said that their company continues it’s never ending research program on people’s aspirations and requirements and then inculcate them in the handsets as features with the help of their technology and development without increasing the price.
However, DS102 is loaded with lots of features like solid speakers which are capable of generating loud music, expandable memory up to 2 GB, outstanding audio player with equalizer and background play.
The handset is equipped with 1000 mAh battery which provides a talk time of 7 hours and 150 hours of standby time. Talking about its storage capacity, the handset is capable of storing 100 contacts with caller ID in its contacts; powerful torch. It also has wireless FM, call backlist which enables the users to block unwanted calls.
Fly mobile has launched the handset in two shades black and red and in two languages: English and Hindi.
The price tagged with the mobile in the Indian market is RS 1449 which is about $31 USD.
