New ThinkPad Laptops as Companions to Windows 7 Released by Lenovo
As companions to Microsoft's Windows 7 released on Thursday, Lenovo has introduced to markets two new ThinkPads which are targeted at businesses with believe in cost consciousness. The ThinkPads are powered by Windows 7 and come with features such as Multi-Touch Touchpads.
Windows 7 was released on October 22, and had gained much popularity even before its release, which most were eagerly awaiting. To compliment the new operating system, Lenovo's latest offerings are Think-and Idea-branded PCs. The laptops have been christened the ThinkPad SL410 and SL510.
The new Lenovos are directed to serve businesses with limited resources, IT and otherwise. For three years, Microsoft and Lenovo engineers have worked tirelessly together to jointly create a PC experience that is better, faster, more stable and more secure”, shared Rory Read, president and CEO of Lenovo.
Other features offered by the new SL series laptops include - high-definition 16:9 screens, Core 2 Duo Intel processors, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G connectivity options. Starting price for both models is set at $529.
