A new HD trailer for the Tomb Raider game title has appeared showing the game named simply, Tomb Raider.

The game, which is expected to be released sometime between September and November 2012, shows a completely refreshed game that aims to take on competitors in the market. The game includes 21-year-old Lara shipwrecked near Japan and finds herself washed up to an island.

Lara’s aim is not only to survive on the mysterious island but also find her escape. The gamers will be allowed a free run on the island enabling them to explore all parts of the island. The game shows the origins of Lara Croft and her transformation from a frightened young woman to hardened survivor.

Tomb Raider will be launched on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Windows PC.
