NHS lends a hand for the victims of violence

NHSAn aid to protect the sufferers of violence, the Department of Health has decided to raise awareness for the roles and responsibilities. The department will further train staff at NHS in order to increase vigil towards various health issues, which occur due to sexual harassment and domestic violence on women and children.

The campaign has come in a drive to combat increasing violence on women and girls from NHS. It lays out a set of regulations for the NHS, which includes spreading awareness, training and education amongst its staffs so that they could reach out to the people with the same message.

In support of this cause, the Department of Health is also backing a diploma for clinicians, who will work with victims of sexual assaults. This is excluding the £1.6 million of funding, which the Department recently proclaimed for Sexual Assault Referral Centres (SARCs).
