London, Mar 9 : Nicole Scherzinger has decided to quit ' X Factor' for a year so that she could spend some quality time with her F1 ace boyfriend Lewis Hamilton.

The former Pussycat Doll singer is elated at chance to cheer 29-year-old former F1 champ at many races this season, the Mirror reported.

Another reason for her leaving the show is that she will also have time to promote her first solo album in three years as she recently signed a multimillion pound deal with Sony.

A friend of singer-songwriter revealed that Scherzinger will be at most of the races as she wants to see Hamilton and they want to be part of one another's everyday lives. (ANI)
