Taylor Swift''s ''Fearless'' tops US music sales for third consecutive week
New York, December 27 : Teen singer Taylor Swift's latest album `Fearless' has topped music sales in the week leading up to Christmas.
The young country pop musician's second album was released on November 11, 2008 and its lead-off single "Love Story" has become her highest Hot 100 hit.
Her album has sold 330,000 copies putting her in the No. 1 spot for a third non-consecutive week on the Billboard charts, reports the New York Daily News.
According to Nielsen Soundscan, despite the staggering number, the overall music sales had still dipped to a 33 percent decrease as compared to last year, reports Variety.
Other albums in soaring demand included Keysha Cole''s "Different Me" which sold 322,000 copies, as compared to 265,000 copies of Jamie Foxx''s "Intuition."
Britney spears'' "Circus" and Beyonce Knowles'' "I Am ... Sasha Fierce" sold 196,000 and 195,000 copies respectively. (ANI)
