 BGR Energy secures order worth Rs 27.14 crore; Stock up 10%BGR Energy Systems Limited has informed that Electrical Project Division of the company has secured a turnkey contract worth Rs 27.14 crore from Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited.

Under the contract, the company will implement 415 V Motor Control Centers (MCC) package for Bharatiya Nabhikiya Vidyut Nigam Limited (BHAVINI), the 500 MW Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor (PFBR) Project at Kalpakkam, Chennai. The contract is scheduled to be completed over 12 months.

The scope of the contract includes supply of complete 415 V MCC Panels and associated Automation Systems for the 500 MW Plant.

Presently, BGR Energy's Electrical Projects Division is executing another key system viz., Medium Voltage Switchgear Package for the PFBR project, Kalpakkam.

The shares of the company today closed at Rs 443 on BSE, up 10% compared to previous close of Rs 401. The counter has made a 52-week high and low of Rs 421 and Rs 107 respectively.
